Debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
After several symphony concerts, Vitali returned to musical theatre, making his debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin by conducting La Traviata.
On 24 May, Vitali successfully premiered Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Duisburg. This unique opera theatre operates in two cities with two orchestras and a large ensemble, allowing different interpretations of the same work. The first Onegin premiere was in Düsseldorf in 2023; while this Duisburg version featured an entirely new cast. It marks the sixth opera Vitali has conducted at the company this season.
On 25 April, Vitali debuted with the Danish Philharmonic in Sønderborg, performing the Magic Flute Overture, Brahms' Vier Ernste Gesänge (orchestrated by Glanert, soloist Johan Reuter), and Beethoven's 5th Symphony.
